Adriana began her career as a young filmmaker at Mediorite, a social enterprise dedicated to fostering sustainable careers for diverse talent. She now supports emerging creatives as a judge for youth screenings.
Currently, Adriana collaborates with Kusini Productions, which focuses on telling the stories of underrepresented groups, particularly Black women and girls, through impactful storytelling.
Among her notable projects, Adriana produced No Business On Sundays (directed by Chris Chance), a short film centred on 1Figures, a local clothing brand that has been dressing the Hackney community since 2014. She also produced Look Up, a documentary for Suicide Prevention Day directed by Cat White, which garnered BBC attention and is entering the festival circuit.
Most recently, Adriana produced a brand film for Ink Innovation, utilising Virtual Production technology with the director duo K+K. She has pursued advanced training in Creative Direction to deepen her understanding of the advertising landscape.
At Hero Films, Adriana is committed to breaking industry barriers and creating opportunities for diverse talent. She values stories that use symbolism to address real-world issues, believing that subtlety enhances their impact. Looking ahead, she is excited to continue crafting nuanced narratives and collaborating with industry professionals to bring these stories to life.
